We posted this late last year year and thought it would be appropriate to push this again. Many of us​, including us,​ have established a "comfort zone" in our lives. We're just coasting along taking the path of least resistance and just getting by. This is ​an extremely common and understandable attitude. We've all worked hard to get where we are today and it may seem a good place to be because it's comfortable.​ However,​ ​the problem with this is that once we stop reaching, stretching, seeking and taking risks, we actually stop growing ​and getting to the​ growth zone​ (the ultimate zone to be in). The comfort zone frame of mind is settling for who and what we are ​today, which usually brings a lot of dissatisfaction as we all strive to be something more. This may be fine today, but without continued growth, effort, failure and risk we are never going to be who we really want to be. If you're in the comfort zone right now, beware - the danger of the comfort zone is that it doesn't hurt, ​it feels good​, and you won't realise you're in it until you're so far in it. Use this time to push out to new zones. Don't focus on the temporary pain, focus on the satisfaction and sense of achievement you will feel once you achieve your goals and go into the new zones.
